Privacy
ATSocy publishes editorial content, runs a public Nostr relay at
relay.atsocy.com, and hosts user-uploaded media at
media.atsocy.com. This page describes what operational data those services
may process.
What ATSocy receives
When you browse the site or use this infrastructure, the servers may receive standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. If you upload media or publish to the relay, ATSocy also receives the Nostr public key and signed events required to authenticate those actions.
Media uploads
Media uploaded to media.atsocy.com is stored content-addressed by hash and
is not encrypted at the application layer. Uploaded files may be processed to
extract metadata, generate thumbnails, and run AI labels used for moderation review.
Relay activity
ATSocy’s relay stores Nostr events and related connection metadata needed to operate a public relay. Relay and media infrastructure may retain logs for abuse response, moderation, debugging, and operational security.
Operational use
ATSocy may use collected data to provide the service, investigate abuse, respond to takedown or legal requests, enforce usage policies, and maintain system integrity. ATSocy does not promise that uploads or relay activity are private from the operator.
Retention
ATSocy may retain logs, uploaded files, reports, and moderation records for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, safety, dispute handling, backup recovery, or legal compliance. Retention settings may change as the service evolves.
Contact
Questions about this infrastructure can be directed through ATSocy’s public contact channels linked on the site. Do not treat ATSocy-hosted services as suitable for storing sensitive or regulated material.
