ATSocy.com is the new control center for aliens

As our beloved network evolves, the community around it has to evolve with it. That means building new ways to follow it, discuss it, and participate in it. ATSocy still publishes articles and interviews with a clear editorial line, but it now adds a social layer with sovereign user accounts, powered by Nostr.

What happened to the old site?

We rebuilt it.

The old ATSocy site published articles and interviews to Hashnode. It was just a simple frontend that leveraged their infrastructure, but it only supported one-way publishing. We wrote, you read, and the rest of the conversation scattered across group chats, social feeds, and browser tabs.

What is ATSocy.com now?

It is still the editorial home for ATS articles, quarterly updates, and interviews you enjoy.

It aligns better with our founding principles. Articles are pushed directly to Nostr, yet statically built to allow search engines to index the content. Media is served by Blossom servers.

It is also a living organism with Reddit-style user-generated content, support for guest or permanent identities, a dev activity tracker, and easily digestible AI-generated channel summaries.

What can aliens actually do on it?

Read the editorial layer

The writing still sits at the center.

You can browse ATS news, guides, interviews, etc. We kept that layer intact and kept it as the main focus of the site.

Comment on articles

Articles now support discussion.

Aliens can comment on posts, reply to each other, and keep the conversation attached to the writing instead of pushing it off to another app. Everything gets pushed to Nostr.

Get an account without doing a ritual

The site gives visitors a guest identity automatically.

You arrive, you exist, and you can participate. If you already use a Nostr browser extension, you can sign in with that instead.

You do not need a signup form, a password, or an inbox verification loop.

Use Pulse

Pulse is the Reddit-style feed.

Aliens can create posts, react, reply, and vote. Pulse supports text posts, links, media, and polls. The feed surfaces hot posts, keeps rolling with infinite scroll, and gives the site a place for live conversation.

Track dev activity

The homepage now has a Dev Activity rail that pulls recent GitHub activity from Zenon builders and repositories.

You can scan commits, pull requests, releases, and issues without moving to another site.

Follow the channels without melting your brain, or your alt account counter

The site also makes room for channel intelligence.

ATSocy.com pulls activity from Telegram, Matrix, Discord, forums, and other channels into one place with AI-generated summaries and channel views. You can track the network without patrolling every platform yourself. Go to the original sources to verify the information.

Why build it like this?

The old site covered one part of the problem.

Zenon has builders, community chatter, technical updates, buried insights, and a lot of noise. A site that only stores polished articles misses most of that activity.

We built the new ATSocy.com to evolve with the conversation. Articles and interviews keep the durable record. Comments keep discussion close to the writing. Pulse gives the community a live feed. Dev activity shows public work. Channel summaries compress the noise.

What should you do now?

We recommend using a permanent Nostr identity.

Enjoy the articles, share them, and post insightful comments.

Create a post on Pulse and share something worthwhile.

Check the dev rail before asking whether anything is happening.
